Hm. I really need to start posting here more often--I've forgotten how cool this board is. Anyway, delurking for a bit here just to say that Okumarts continues to blow my mind with these.
Hey, Okumarts, do you mind if I mirror these on the WNM main page?

Maybe he would let you use some of the images for version 2 of your WNMHGB rules? They'd look great in the rule book.

Yes, I love this board; we have covered a lot of great ground here, and I hope it continues! WNMHGB is the greatest ruleset to date, and I still would love to see a professionally laid out and illustrated Players Book.

Slortar! Link away!! Link away!! Thanks for the kind words all. There are plenty more sets I want to make. I will probably make a few over the Christmas break. I am gearing up to continue with WNMHGB again around that time.

What about making some with the original crew movie uniforms? Or some inspired by the fan film project Star Trek: Phase II that continues the five year mission.

Any chance of you making an Edosian miniature? Based on a post on anther thread, rules for them are being considered for the Player Guide.

I'm sorry to see there's been no more of these wonderful miniatures. Has anyone tried printing them out in 15mm scale to make use of the FASA deckplans in that scale?

Yeah, they're not so bad. Actually, I searched abit and found these from Crow's Nest. It appeals to the model maker in me because there is some assembly required. It does make for more variety in your TOS paper minis... Ciao! Grendelwulf Does anyone know how old this site is or if is still being updated? The main page text implies somewhere in 2001-2005 saw the last update, as Enterprise is refered to as the present-day series. I find the low-res gif files annoying, so I am tempted to vectorize them (even though I am relatively unskilled in such tasks). For example (with original graphic on the right, obviously):

Given vector images in eps, png, or svg, I could bind them into fonts. I've got a partial one done already...
And yes, Crow's site is updated moderately often, tho' the Model Maker hasn't been updated as the code uses certain specific IE 5 only tags.

I was thinking of making something similar to what's already on the site, except without the dragging, with easily scalable size, and with RGB color selection for certain components (shirts and such). Mostly, I'm motivated by the lack of decent metal Trek miniatures. (Also, I thought it would be fun to expand and have other costumes like nazis and gangsters.) *edit* Graphics-wise, is it considered theft if you're manually redrawing the images, just using the originals as a visual guide?

Having them in fonts makes them easily stored, and readily printed in easily controllable subsets at easily controlled size. It does restrict to B&W (unless one wants to dig deep into post-script), but it is possible to set up overstrike characters for coloring. Copyright wise, I believe it's considered derivative work...
