It will take about half an hour to pop the extant welds on one door set. Grayson going in the front or the back?

I seemed to have missed something. Jasper asked them to go to the Brig, and not the shuttle bay. Oh, and Jasper would not have handed over the hypo-spray to Mr. Johnson. Jasper wants to keep it close so that it doesn't get used for the wrong reason; i.e., like Johnson using it on Grayson while the two of them are alone. Is this a mutiny?

The Hypo is johnson's personal assigned equipment. Part of his medical kit. He's unable to count the medkit without it, nor to treat wounds. If the hypo isn't returned, Donny will point out he's unable to obey until it is returned. (Taking away personal assigned tools needed to complete the orders is at least a -10...)
I believe Grayson is simply reprioritizing the orders... officers are allowed to do that without it being mutiny. They may have to explain it later, but it doesn't constitute mutiny. If they don't eventually release Paddy, it would be insubordination.
An enlisted man may not "interpret" nor "reprioritize" orders... but since Johnson was sent by Jasper along with Grayson, he can claim "Just obeying orders"...
Mutiny requires actively removing a fit commander from command by force, coercion, or trickery.
Insubordination is willfully ignoring orders without justification. But, based upon the loyalty rules in S&S, it seems the SFS has either very mild or no punishment for insubordination.
I should check to see if Johnson releases Paddy first... higher successful loyalty gets 1st priority. Remembering Loyalty is modified by 1/3 Cha for different race, 1/2 for same race. (I'm recasting the die modifier down to a target modifier up; I prefer to modify TN's).
vs Jasper - Loy Check vs 15+(15/3)=20 [dice=20] vs Alex - Loy Check vs 15+(7/2)=18.5 [dice=20]

Hmm, OK. There wasn't an order about going to the shuttle bay in the first place, so I don't see how a non-existent order can be 're-prioritized.' I guess we see how it shakes out then.

They were present when Dr. Kordoba said it needs to die. An officer can always put "Safety of the Ship" above the captain's orders outside of combat. May wind up with an unpleasant transfer later... Note that they don't find the critter on the shuttle...

Heh, and here I was thinking we were going to the shuttle bay cause you'd ordered it somewhere and I'd missed it Drohem. Oh well, Grayson can finish searching the place and head down to the brig, sharpish I hope.

Hehehe... it's all good. Jasper's INT (14) roll for the Sensors = [dice=20].[rand=903111848860021820019894984195052711544845033795349612031749914675]

Hehehe... it's all good. Jasper's INT (14) roll for the Sensors = 18. Ouch... due to some technobabble ;D involving mental exhastion, the Warp Field and the Alien Metabolism, you're unable to sort out where it is aboard ship using the sensors. You DO know it's aboard, you can still feel its evil. Rules Call: On the other hand, if you get within Psi/3 meters of the beastie without LOS, I'll let you know where it is... you may want to look at the map... by virtue of your Detect Evil... Which, BTW, reminds me... I need to ask Dr. Kanterman about that... =SD=2102.66=

"This Videni here is dead, bit on some capsule or other. Been dead a little while now. Ah guess leave 'im long enough an' he'll start ta stink. How 'bout we use him as bait? See if th' lobster wants an easy meal like? We won't mention it's uh, liable ta give it a bad stomach... Don't think it'll mind once ah blast it ta hell n back anyway. Maybe leave it near the ventilation system ta get the smell through the ship, an see if it wants ta follow th' trail?" That's so hideously sick I'd not even thought of it. +50XP.

Shame the cap'n didn't go for it Or probably all the better for it - visions of dead videni spores floating about might have them thinking it wasn't a great idea when they're all doubled over...

Personally, I think that it's a great idea! So does Jasper, but he really doesn't want any of the non-psionic people alone and undefended against that creature's attacks- it's way too powerful for non-psionics.

Japser's empathy picks up quickly that Paddy is quite worried, and curious, all at once...

*I* know where the critter is, I'm just waiting for either further dialog this scene or for Dro' to move on and tell me his search path.
