Before I make my contact roll and list of questions can I ask Jasper in-game if there are any questions he would like asked? Aw, dude, if you're making the rolls then you're asking the questions. But just as the computer basic stuff like if there are spaceships in the system or on the planet, or does it detect signs of higher technologies elsewhere in the system. Basically, we're looking for signs of either the Videni or Drakis on the planet or in the system. We need to find the Drakis' starships and where they're located.

Sounds good Drohem. I have a better understanding of the computer and sensor scans after reading through the Actions thread.

Craigers, Solor should probably say something vague about power signatures, and then scan for some of each...

FYI: my arm got broken AGAIN on the 29th April, and I'll be having surgery on the 13th. so, don't expect me to be on from 13-15 may.

Sorry to hear about your arm aramis.
I have a question for you about the rule for sensor scans. I thought the house rule was that we roll against our contact skill at a roll less than the skill. To me it looks like I didn’t make successful rolls on my previous two scans but my questions were still answered. I’m a little confused about this.

I used to fence - SCA Rapier - and have had fewer injuries fencing than I've had teaching.
Teaching: 2 broken arms, a mangled knee, a minor concussion, 4 groin pulls, 25 significant bruises, 4 pulled muscles in the chest, a few dozen bouts of influenza.
Fencing: 1 groin pull, 4 significant bruises, no broken bones.

Craigers: you missed a negative sign... -30m AGL is 30m below surface... just retcon the post with an edit...

Do you teach trolls or werewolves? Low-income public school children. One step worse than trolls on many days.

Low-income public school children. One step worse than trolls on many days. With all serious, I thank you. Although I am not mystified by it, it does bother me that we treat those who are shaping the next generation of humanity so poorly. Educators are not properly respected, IMO, and certainly not paid well enough for the crucial role they play in society. OK, stepping off the soapbox now, LOL! I hope your surgery goes well, and that you have a speedy recovery.

<mind you, i'm out of my mind at the moment - psychedelic side effects from the local, and on oxycodone>
it went ok... can't get comfy... thumb and index of that arm numb... they removed the chunk, as it was non-viable to put back into place.

Craigers: you missed a negative sign... -30m AGL is 30m below surface... just retcon the post with an edit... Edited in the narrative thread. Welcome back from surgery aramis. It sounds like everything went ok. Try to get some rest and thanks for your work on this game.
