Apologies for delay. Revised questions: 1) Is there intelligent life on the planet? 2) are there records about this planet in the database? 3) if the answer to 1) is yes is the race capable of space travel? 4) are the other lifeforms on the planet dangerous to us? 5) is there anything useful on the planet (with regards dilithium, or this games equivalent - haven't got the rule book to hand as posting from a laptop) we can use to power the ship? 1 Yes 2 only what's in the data tables (see the map sticky) 3 no 4 yes 5 yes, strategic supplies are present. #2 isn't counted against your list... Alex would know that there isn't anything in the DBase, because it's a first survey mission.

Waddaya know, I made it! Three questions, attempting to be supplementary of Alex's:
1) Even if they're not capable of space travel, can these sentients pose threat to us with their tech level? 2) Do they have surveillance technology enough to detect us? 3) Are there any sings of the planet having been visited by other spacefaring beings?

1) Yes 2) You found a 1m refractor on a mountain top... 3) Yes.
Since you're a pilot... right next to that telescope, there's a clearing with markings of landing gear from a shuttle. Count that as the in-field bonus.
Int Check for RJ to know the pattern: [dice=20]
Yup.. 11 of 12... BONUS...
It's a Videni shuttlecraft's landing configuration, and it's about 2 weeks old, from the dust blown over it.[rand=51770503143779933924347460269928871721334522598143969073425978]

When they beam down Grayson will look about for anything dangerous and advise the others to get cover if that's the case. He'll be in jet pack, rad suit, and the best weapon he can muster.

Looks like a good call on the bug cap'n - fancy tryin' ta catch th' thing and haul it back to the ship as a specimen, or is that not what we do? I can see it now "So, you went to an uncharted planet, at an unfathomable cost, and brought back a bug that eats grease?" *sound of weapon cocking* "Admiral! No, wait! just think of the applications! it could..." BANG! Admiral blows smoke from the gun, shakes his head and bellows "NEXT!"
