Is it intended (or desired) to start a Play-by-Post game on this forum? I think it would be fun - but, I do not have access to any Star Trek RPG materials.
"Where No Man Has Gone Before 2.0" looks good, but I do have a dislike for the silly "Talents." (I prefer silliness to come out in game play, not in the rules.) I suppose we could make it work, though.

I didn’t have any intention to start a PbP game, but I wouldn’t mind it, and it might actually help move discussion along. Because it would mean someone on this board was actually doing Star Trek gaming instead of just contemplating it!
As for “Where No Man Has Gone Before 2.0” and making it work, that could use its own thread...

Man I was thinking about this earlier today. If someone runs a PbP game I am so there.

Howdy,
I am new here but have been running pbp games for a bit and I am a HUGE trek fan...it wouldn't take much to get me to run some Trek here.
I would just like to know what system you would want, I am very familiar with the micro-20 Star Trek rules if that is the preferred method.
I have also used True20 in the past and have run FASA, ICON and CODA though I would prefer not to use the last two...burnout from them.
Let me know!

I have also some Mongoose Traveller Conversions that I have just started to use for Star Trek that seem to work well.
Would TOS be the era of choice, this has gotten my GM Trek juices flowing...I hope that the offer for players is still there!

Hey, Ronin84, by all means feel free to run a game here! Ideally, it would be not only TOS-era but also inspired by TOS-only. Where No Man Has Gone Before 2.0 would be a good choice; possibly also Starships & Spacemen and/or an amalgam of any and all of the four game systems that have their own board here. Rules-lite and class-based is what I had in mind when I started this forum. If you are okay with that, PM me when you are ready for me to create your board!

I am considering two ships for which to use.
A Miranda Class, unknown name right now.
The Exeter from Omega Glory, obviously after that episode.
Any opinions or thoughts?
Am going to go ahead and use Where No Man Has Gone Before 2.0 as the basis of the game.

Wow, cool. Wish I had more free time to participate. I will definitely arm-chair spectate, though.
And, yeah, using the Exeter is a pretty cool idea. The TOS Miranda would have been great, too, even though it's pretty much the least canonical thing in WNM.
