Cool. I just finished listening to your takes on "Termination:1456"; that was fun.

In Episode 14, we play “Demand of Honor,” the lone sequel to “The Arena.” Does it do justice to the greatness of the Gorn? Find out at: www.rpgpopclub.com/podcast.html

For what it’s worth, putraack , the FASA Star Trek modules are *very* easy to obtain and affordable in my very real and practical and recent experience. Waaaaaaay more than MERP, say.

I love your first two Klingon adventure podcasts. And your well thought, honest and thorough reviews of John M Ford's superlative "The Final Reflection". I originally read it back in the 80's and reread every few years - and always find something new. In fact it wasn't until your review that I understood that the Refective Game of Klin Zha is an analogy for war! Just a few observations to pass on from either TFR and/or the FASA Klingon supplements. 1. The FASA 15mm scale D7 plans (referenced in Intrusion) do include baths - but only for officers. The crew only deserve showers!! 2. Klingons originate from a warm, moist, cloudy, tropical world, hence why they so love baths. But they also enjoy incense - which explains the smoky interior of their ships. 3. Fruit sugars seem to metabolise in Klingon energetic digestive systems into an alcoholic spirits-type biochemical. Hence why the love for fruit pastries and juice. I love the concept of a Green Orion consort/assassin PC. Seems to tie in with the depiction of Rogaine in TFR. And (away from Klingons for a moment) it's great to hear a good outline of FASA's depiction of the Romulans and their fanatical desire to meet the Preservers/Great Brothers and take over their mantle. All this referencing back to TFR, inspired by your podcasts is certainly making me want to run a FASA Klingon campaign again.

Mike, that’s some wonderful feedback which we will read on an upcoming podcast, if you don’t mind. Thanks so much! Is that info on juice and baths explained on the FASA “Klingons” supplement? Either way, super cool how much RPGs immerse you in an imaginary world, and linking up with other people who have shared that experience and also therefore have such deep knowledge of the world.

Falconer, yes, by all means. I sadly lost my copy of the FASA Klingon supplements in a recent house move, and so must pull out my copy of TFR and check out the points around baths and fruit there. Your comments on shared knowledge of an RPG setting brought on a flash of memory of my mate Steve, who played a D7 captain in a Klingon campaign I ran back in the day. The team were besieged and surrounded, on a secret research base run by an opposing Klingon faction. Then Steve's PC initiated visual communication with the enemy commander and calmly explained to him that he wasn't just a straav or a kuve or a gagny kleon. No, he wasn't just all those things, he was also a "Tokhe Straav!!! " One raging enemy commander then recklessly launched his attack which the team, using some time which Steve had bought, managed to repulse!!
