What’s a good, simple rule for the Vulcan Nerve Pinch? I haven’t found anything in STAGFF.
In the show it usually required a distraction and/or silent movement so that Mr. Spock could flank the target. I’ve been giving the Vulcan PC in my game a 1/6 chance of a successful nerve pinch, or 3/6 if she is behind the victim. Not sure I want to make it more complicated than that, but, just thought I would bounce it off you guys. Are there any rules for this in S&S or WNMHGB?

Not exactly what you asked for, but...... FASA judge Vulcan nerve pinch as a hand to hand attack, with to hit modifiers from -30 to +40 depending on degree of surprise or awareness. If HtH roll suceeds then target is unconcious for 2D10+10 minutes. I ran a campaign with a Vulcan PC back in the day and these rules seemed to work quite well.
