In other words, most FASA maps use one square to 10 parsecs, but the Triangle maps use one square to 1 parsec.

Hey, Jim. Unless I am having a brain fart, FASA coordinates are in tens of parsecs. So 8.8S and 8.9S are one parsec apart. No, it was me having the brain fart, the scale of the maps are totally different. I engaged the message posting part of my brain before thinking about what I was writing. I do think some of the distances and locations of real stars are way off though. The others I can't argue about as they are at the whim of the designers. Jim
