Hi, my name is Wes Herbst and I am a life-long fan of Star Trek. I got to wanting to play some FASA Trek the other day and went to look for some good star fleet officer miniatures. As there are none, I then decided, that since I own a company that makes 25mm metal gaming figures, I should have some done. So now they are in production with a release date expected sometime in the second quarter of this year. You can follow our progress on facebook where we have concept art and whatnot. www.facebook.com/pages/Lenexa-KS/Secret-Skeleton-Miniatures/275718599591?ref=ts

Ooooh, shiny.... This would be fantastic. I have been mutilating some model minis, kitbashing for a close-to-ST look with little success. Definitely, keep us posted... Ciao! Grendelwulf

Pretty cool. Is it just me or are the details that differ from official ST (e.g. the chest logo) ones that you could easily paint over?

The chest emblem is going to be a simple oval. The idea is that you can fill in the Star Fleet emblem in the appropriate area, and simply paint over the rest. I dared not make it too close, but I wanted to present painters with a very nice little canvas to do it themselves. Trust me, that is one of the first things I thought of, haha.

You just go ahead and let us know when these will be available. I'm already saving up for them!
I assume these will be the "standard" 28mm size that's all the rage these days?

I use true 25mm scale. Basically 5mm = 1 foot of height. So these males will be about 28mm tall and the women 25mm tall. I will make more packs depending on the success of prior ones. So basically if I sell fifty to seventy-five packs total, that will be enough to pay for its successor packs. It will cost something in the neighborhood of $650 - 700 to produce such a figure, but I am doing them to optimize their cool.
Basically each pack with be three different poses for the body, three different variations of each hand, and six different heads. If you want the specifics, you can check out my facebook.
