You can find all sorts of FASA STCS and RPG stuff here: www.anzwers.org/free/fasa/(That is, assuming that FASA's 1st edition is considered "on topic" here)

Thanks for the link! I have now addressed the “is FASA okay” question in the About This Forum sticky thread. Regards.

Awesome! I found that FASA can be played in TOS style (which is how most of us played it, having grown up with TOS/TAS. At the time, the dominant Star Trek influence was ST II, Wrath of Khan. The funny thing is, on reflection, STII was so TOS in spirit and execution it almost feels like a cinematic retroclone I have to admit, ST6:UC was too... or a damn close simulacra.

To me, The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, and The Undiscovered Country makes a decent “11 years later” miniseries that caps off the story nicely. I wish they had stuck aesthetically a little closer to TOS than they did, but since everything is a product of it’s time, it is what it is. I just resist seeing them as more important than, or even anywhere near as important as, TOS, either as a whole or even excerpting its best episodes.

My favorite movies are the even numbered ones: II, IV, VI. (Actually the II-III-IV sequence is decent enough, but I hated when they switched actesses who played Saavik.)

I count Valeris as the third Saavik; somehow it’s easier for me to accept three Saaviks than it is to accept two.

ufc465537.scificities.com/resources/Xon's site has been down for a while- the bulk of the site has been archived amongst the old-timer fasa fans. Some of those pages are in the link above, if you go to the links page, you can find the rest of the archive at the other fasa sites You can find all sorts of FASA STCS and RPG stuff here: www.anzwers.org/free/fasa/(That is, assuming that FASA's 1st edition is considered "on topic" here)
