Hey all. I have a line of minis out called Retro Space and I just released a new set of card minis that could be used with WNMHGB. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index.php?cPath=6377_6511Another thing I'm thinking is re-releasing/re-vamping my existing Trek minis. They were the first paper mini sets I made and they are true 28mm, that said they are a bit out of scale with my new minis and the other minis I use on a regular basis. Any thoughts on the matter? Here is a picture comparing the Trek minis with some of my other sets (the Trek min should be obvious).

You're doing them in scales I don't like 28+mm. And I prefer tent-styles, being more stable. I love the artwork, tho'.
Now, you've done them in PDF's... so it's not like people can't rescale them by use of their printer. (For those using the other fonts with Trek, they probably should scale those down by a small factor. From a 30mm to a 28 is 93%, for example.)
I'll also note that good clean vector line art (say, .svg files) would allow easy conversion into truetype, PS type 1, and .otf fonts.
And by going the font route, one eliminates the whole scale of drawing issue - the customer picks which size. It's even possible in PS Type 1 and .OTF to have color fonts... tho that's nowhere near as easy, as support for making them is lacking, and many programs don't support those features.

Hi Okumarts
Thanks for the rescaled Trek minis. Your stuff is excellent. Any additions or revisions to your Trek line would be most welcome, i'm sure. And the photos of the minis in action are great.

Somewhere I saw that you'd done a Fuzzy from Little Fuzzy. A set of Fuzzies that were up to the waist of the Star Trek figures would be awesome, if universe crossing. (I know the Fuzzies were smaller in the Piper books but any smaller would be really hard to cut out to use.)

I made up that character sheet. There is an error that we had to fix manually and it was too late to fix them as the characters had been made sooo I guess I could post them somewhere once I fix em. These minis were my first real paper minis I made on a large scale and I am super proud of them. Thanks for the kind words. I want to get a new set of Federation "Civilians" and pad out the uniform options/ duty outfits, but I'm a bit swamped this month. Hopefully before christmas I can release a few more free trek sets.

Thanks Okum, I would love a chance to check out that PC sheet. I prefer single page character sheets.
looking forward to more Trek minis. And I support your other ranges as well!

Hey Okum, if you were to use some other Paper minis with your Star Trek ones, who would you suggest?
Are there any in particular that you have found worked well in your own games?

I am a big fan of Paper Warrior stuff. He seems to have dropped off the face of the earth, but he makes some awesome paper minis. I use the Medusans as a recurring alien race the Federation encounters in my campaign. There are also some good "cloud monsters" and general alien types that could be awesome. It's a bit cartoony for some, but I love them. His Muddleflogs and Grogs are the best. (Pro Tip: I use photoshop to make the borders black. I just prefer the aesthetics of a black border over a white one). www.wargamevault.com/index.php?keywords=the+paper+warrior&x=0&y=0&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto=
