My confusion lies in the Values given to the Warp Drive/Nacelle(s). I have tried to create charts to limit the High Values and the Low Values for each Nacelle from the Series of FASA Star Trek Gaming Material, and to be Honest...They make no Sense. Has the crew from Fantasimulation ever Released the Charts that they used to come to their Conclusions for the Values for their Warp Drives/Nacelles? If so, Where can I find them? I have compiled over 100 Nacelle designs starting from 2064 to 2244, and though most have Values already assigned to them, there is a good number that does not, and I would like to assign values to them based off of FASA's Charts. Thank-You

Have you the ship construction manual?
Keep in mind that the data listed in the ship recognition manuals is not entirely clear, there's more data generated in the ship construction manual.

I have the 2204 Second Edition, the 2204 Star Trek II, 2302 FEDERATION Ship Recognition Manual, 2302 Ship Recognition Manual-The Federation, 2214 Sourcebook Update, Even the 2230-2330 FEDERATION Starship Construction Module [pdf], ADVANCED Rules Module, Vintage Starships I & II 2130-2160 & 2161-2230 [pdf], and then some. lol. I have tried making charts based off of everything that I have so I can fill in the blanks, but it just stressed me out. lol. The values were all over the place and made no sense. I am trying to find whatever I can on the Original information that the Creators of the FASA used to come to their conclusions on their values. I have found information that After Cochranes Maiden Warp Flight, the Humans bought Foreign Warp Technologies until 2102 where they started creating their own Warp Drives/Nacelles. I want to fill that Gap and any other Gaps until 2244. I am doing this because I am writing a book on early Warp Flight after Cochrane's historic flight in Star Trek History. Actually the Book is about a Specific character, and I want Reliable information that can be cross referenced with the Popular Gaming Materials. I know they had to have some type of guidelines when creating the Game. Charts, Calculations, etc...That justifies the values they arrived at.

I suspect the values are derived from a non-formulaic master table which is based in Classic Traveller - when they wrote FASA-Trek, they were also doing a LOT of Classic Traveller.
As for making sense of it, I've only ever USED the tables, not tried to decipher any underlying formulae, because I genuinely don't think FASA had underlying formulae.

ThanX-I just learned that the hard way. lol. I was able to find someone who had created a system of providing values to create warp drives. As confusing as it is, he had a system. I am going to make the Charts, and I know it will be a lot of work, but it will be done. I am going to check into the "Traveller" material. Hopefully I will find pdf to help. You have been a lot of help. Thank-You. Robert

Classic Traveller is a $35 CD for everything by GDW except the magazines... fyi. farfuture.net On the cheaper side, the tables you need are very similar to the ones in the MgT SRD.... However, I'll point out also that Prime Directive for MgT is coming soon... and might have design adaptations.
