Has anyone worked up Star Trek using the BRP (Basic Roleplaying) system by Chaosium?

Yeah, a company called FASA, back in 1984... It's called "Star Trek: The Role Playing Game".
In all seriousness, the differences between STRPG and BRP are several, but BRP players seldom have issue converting over. STRPG uses percentile attributes rather than BRP's 3d6 range STRPG uses a more involved character generation with some Travellerisms.

Only problem there is I don't have the FASA stuff. Besides, I just figured I'd see if anyone has fashioned a version to use with the BRP system.

Looking at weapons...
Note that damage in STRPG is to End, (human average 55), as is fatigue. (Fatigeu heals faster, but is marked against hit points)
Phaser Stun does 75 fatigue, costs 1 EP Heavy Stun does 120 Fatigue, costs 2 EP Heat does 40 wound, costs 1 EP Disrupt does 150 wound, costs 2 EP disintegrate does just that to man-sized targets, costs 4 EP.
Type 1 has 20 EP, Type II has 35, and Rifle has 50.
Klingon Disruptor does 75 wound (but can be set for stun), costing 2 EP per shot, with 20 in the pistol, and 50 in the rifle. Later versions add a 6 EP disintegrate setting.
The Base TN was average of Dex and the weapon's skill; if the to-hit was in the uppper 10 points of the TN, it grazes for 1/3 damage.
So... comparing to BRP
BRP HP average (10.5+13)/2=12
So that/s 4.7... so changing that to divide by 5 to allow for simplicity.
That puts Stun at 15, heavy stun at 24, heat at 8, disrupt at 30. If using Fatigue, stun and heavy stun should be 60FP and 96 FP. Disintegrate should do 20 size of disintegrate... if target too big, take 60 damage, instead.
So... converting these to dice rolls: Phaser Stun 2d8+10 Heavy Stun 3d8+12 Heat: 2d6+1 Disrupt 4d8+14 Disintegrate 4d10+40?
Disruptor does 2d8+10
All should be Str5/Dex5, rifles 7/5. Malfunction should be 00.
Range should be 5 for Type I Phaser & Disruptor Pistols, 10 for Type II Phaser pistols and Disruptor Rifles, and 15 for Phaser Rifles.
Wide Angle is only available for basic stun; it gains +20 to hit, uses whole body armor, hits up to a 4.5m wide group of up to 3 adjacent targets.
Phaser stun works just like the stun pistol in BRP - resistance roll of stun damage vs Con. Note that Stun Damage should accumulate, and probably should go away at a few points per round (Con/5?)

Its a project I've wanted to do for nigh on 30 years. 30 YEARS! I have nothing to show you. But you could start with the freebie Openquest or Renaisssance RPG documents and go from there.
