Does anyone listen to podcasts on their commute, at the gym, etc? I have found a ton of Star Trek content out there for consumption. Here are a few examples:
Roddenberry Entertainment -- Rod Roddenberry's company. Podcasts include:
The Trek.fm network
trek.fm has over twenty podcasts. They have podcasts for each series (Standard Orbit for TOS, Saturday Morning Trek for TAS, Earl Grey for TNG, The Orb for DS9, and so forth). They also have topical series like Continuing Mission which covers fan films, Literary Treks, which talks about Star Trek on the written page, Primitive Culture, dedicated to a deep examination of the connections between Star Trek and our own history and culture.
Finally, there is Scott McNulty's Random Trek from the Incomparable network. Random Trek is a podcast "in which Scott McNulty discusses a randomly selected episode of “Star Trek” — all series, all seasons — with a non-random guest." The Incomparable network is a network of geek pop culture podcasts, including things like Total Party Kill, "a podcast in which a bunch of friends play Dungeons and Dragons on the Internet for your amusement,"and the flagship Incomparable podcast.
Some of these are worth checking out, if for no other reason, for the sheer scale. For instance, Mission Log is a podcast in which two hosts, John Champion (who read for the role of Wesley Crusher, but was beaten out by Wil Wheaton, and was also Lt. Hadley in an episode of Star Trek Continues) and Ken Ray, have a stated goal of watching every episode of Star Trek, and exploring it for morals, messages, and meanings. They started the show in 2012 with The Cage, and have worked through TOS, TAS, the original cast movies, TNG, the TNG movies, and have just started DS9.
All in all, there is a rich tapestry of Star Trek content out there, you should check it out.
