en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_(1971_video_game)Has anyone here any experience playing either the text-based "Star Trek" or "Super Star Trek" back in ye olde dayes? Is there any modern, online emulator for this? (Apologies in advance. I don't exactly know where to put this thread.)

Just about every mainframe or mini-computer in the 1970's to sometime in the 1980's had that game on it.
Had the code printed out on fan-fold paper back in the day...

One of the classic Basic programs that Microsoft bundled as examples for their licensees. I've also played a bunch of both atari 2600 reimplementations: Starmaster and Star Raiders. I like both, but Starmaster is slightly better, despite needing to use the color/BW switch. They use the same overall strategic, but the tactical is a forward facing tactical rail-shooter instead of the guess the angle. Damn. I'm feeling old... it's been 40 years since I played it on the kaypro... and 20 since the last time I fired up the Adam to play Starmaster.
