I've been going through old issues of magazines such as The Space Gamer and Different Worlds lately and thought I'd share some fun stuff I ran across: Star Patrol Reviews (PDF) Star Patrol Designer Notes (PDF) Misc Reviews including Star Patrol Mission Master Pack, Task Force's Federation Space and FGU's Space Opera 2E (PDF) The SF RPGs of 1983 with emphasis on Trek, and other games including Gamma World revised, Space Opera, Morrow Project, the state of Traveller, James Bond 007... man, what wonderful days these were! (PDF) An ad for Federation Space and a cute ad for miniatures (JPGs) More to come! Enjoy! Good reading, thanks!

Is there a way I can check out the Star Trek Maps? I only got an error message.

The 1980 Star Trek Maps, with four giant maps charting the original voyage of the starship Enterprise, and a 32 page booklet "Starfleet Command Introduction to Navigation". Man, I saw a copy of this today in Half Price Books. The price? $80. Probably reasonable, considering the rarity (and it looked in great condition), but, I just don’t have it to spend at the moment.

Very cool. For whatever reason, I rarely bought copies of SPACE GAMER and DIFFERENT WORLDS. (How I wish I had more money back then...) It's neat to see more content from those magazines. Now if only someone could put out issues on PDF like they did for Dragon... Of course given the way Wizards got sued for doing that, maybe that's why they haven't Allen It boils down to content ownership. TSR licensed rather than purchased rights to several items; these licenses didn't allow reprints. And Jolly Blackburn sued over his material. If the CD's had only been made available to libraries and archives, the archival exception would apply... but that's no good for us, either. So, largely, we get little. It's worth noting that TFG's Nexus is being rereleased in scanned PDF. Issues 1-4 were available last I checked.
