Y'all have found a dust cloud... the hard way.
[dice=6]x10% of PPB goes away... I'm being kind and making that "of current" not "of original" (since the book is unclear, and I've always done it that way). 29x0.4=11.6≅12 damage.... New Current PPB=17.
And I just noticed the detection roll is 50% (1-3 on 1d6, 1-4 if a navigator.)... [dice=6]. Nope.. No go there...

Ouch... this might this new ships maiden and final voyage.
At Waypoint 0609 change course (hexside 6) Proceed directly to Starbase Knikniknik (hexside 6) at Warp 1 EUs Spent = 15
Does that count at 2 hexside turns or one since it's on the border of both hexsides? If it counts as two hexside changes, then we can't do it. In that case, we'll change course to Waypoint 0608 (hexside 1).

Knikniknik is just a system. Only one starbase: Adak. (which is why Adak has the smaller green star upper left. I used CC2 in Traveller mode for the maps.)
And turns are free IF you are sublight when you do them. But then you have to have sublight drives on.
I'll let you aim down the hex edge...

Whew! We made to the Knikniknik System. Hooray! Now, do we know where to find this Dr. Kordoba in the system? Is he on a planet, moon, or space station in the system? Are there facilities in the Knikniknik System to effect repairs on our ship? Regardless, Mr. Vork can start working on repairing the PPB. Otherwise, I doubt very highly that we'll ever make it back to Starbase Adak in one piece. With such a low PP daily allotment, we cannot travel with shields up and the random dice rolls will kill us since we have to travel so many days back to Starbase Adak.

OK, since we blew our PPs this day just getting here, the next day Mr. Vork will attempt repairs on the Power Pile while Mr. Grayson and Jasper take a shuttle to the surface of Cottonball.

I'm not really sure what you mean by 'configuration.' Jasper and Mr. Grayson will take the shuttle down to the surface. We will take the Auto-Analyzer and Medkit just in case. I don't think that we have any other equipment to take with us.

All but the front row of seats are removable; I forget what's in the ships stores. (Looked it up: Planetary Radar Tracking Unit, an Auto-Analyzer, and a Medikit).
Personal gear being taken needs to be specified, even if it's just "All."
You might also want to read the system data, and hail the colony, letting them know you're there and coming down.

Grayson will take everything he has of use, weapons, equipment etc. Wouldn't be much good if there were loads of aliens for the redneck er red shirt to blast and he leaves it behind.
