Just wondering if anyone plans to attend GenCon this year? If so, is anyone up for a pickup game of some sort? I'll be there again this year. Living in Indianapolis, it isn't hard

Must be nice! ;-) Actually, since I live in Chicago I have no excuse not to go. But I also have no excuse TO go. I have never been to GenCon. Hmm...

As I'm way off in the wilds of western Colorado, and am without gainful employment for the time being, I can't make it to anywhere.

My sister and I often make a trek from Chicago to GenCon, stay and shop for a few hours, then come home. Much more convenient when it was in Milwaukee, but we've still made the trip to Indy a couple of times.
My big problem is that I don't really go to play games, which diminishes some of the advantage of a game convention. It is kind of pricey to pay an entry fee just so I can spend money, but they do usually have a lot of fun stuff to look at there.

I can't afford airfare. So I'm not going.

It's not trek, but I know a guy that runs tons of pick up Savage Worlds games if you're interested. Also, if you attend on Saturday, Pinnacle was the free Savage Saturday Night which is a blast.
